Our contractor showed us how to paint the doors with a sprayer. Scott hammered a board to the doors so they sit like the pictures shows and we can spray all sides. Pretty cool!

TO DO OR NOT TO DO

As many of you know, Our moving to Mesquite Nevada did not work out and we ended up in springville utah. Our plan was to rent and hope that Scott was able to be a manager again and buy a house some day well here we are three years later. We decided to buy a home here in Springville since nothing was happening job wise. The day we were supposed to find out if the person owning the house we were interested in was going to accept our offer, Scott gets a phone call for a second interview in Maine. Okay so what do we do???? Scott was so sure he wouldn't even get the position with the economy they are not moving people. We decided to pursue the house. come to find out the position was down to him and one other person with Scott having more experience so it was highly likely that he had a really good chance of getting the postion but do we want to move back there or stay here. We absolutely love the east and the opportunity to go back there is sooooooo tempting but family is keeping us here so as you can see our decision was to back out of the job and stay here. I just wanted to show pictures of our house. The basement is unfinished which is what we are trying to finish right now. Some of it is hired out and some Scott is doing on his own.

Here is a picture of our kitchen

More of the kitchen

Our living room and my accent wall, I will be changing the color because it really doesn't match my colors of wall decorations

Our basement this is my storage room, in the very back is a small room for cold cold storage

Our Family room, scott is working on the wiring for electricity, which he did mostly by himself and some help from his dad

Part of the family room and the room in the back will be Michaela's room

The sheetrocking is now done and they are working on the mudding. This will be my Laundry room. I have always wanted a bigger laundry room

snow day and the grinch

we got our first snow storm about two weeks ago and it was quite a bit. The kids couldn't wait to play in it. Here is Ashley

Madison

We went to a Wal*Mart party. Scott had to dress up as a grinch so here he is. He did a great job. The kids couldn't leave him alone and followed him everywhere. He even went over to the Christmas tree and tried stealing presents, It was funny!!

Braces!!

So Michaela,Mckenzie, and I all got braces. I have never been happy with my smile and have always wanted braces. The big motivation was my sister got them almost a year ago. We all three got them together so we will all be enduring this together.

Here is Mckenzie in the chair getting ready.

Here is me getting ready for them and just a "tad" bit nervous for what is ahead am I to old for this?

Here is me during the procedure

Michaela getting hers on

Michaela and Mckenzie right after they are done

Here is us three with are "shiny" new smile

So now we have them on they are painful, awkward, and especially annoying because part of life is eating three times a day and that is a chore. They feel really weird but in the end it will all be so worth it. By the way we finally bought a new camera!

Blogging ?????

I'm so behind on blogging as you can tell my excuse no time but I beleive you have to make the time and prioritize and blogging is not one of those at the top and it should. Right now I am having troubles putting pictures on here it is doing strange things and I have no clue how to figure it out!!!! I have never been a pro at computers. OUr camera is now broken which makes things harder. Madison was playing with our camera. I told her she knows that she is not supposed to be playing with the camera and her respose well its Ashley's fault because she pushed me. No its both of your faults I said You should not be playing with the camera and Ashley shouldn't have pushed you. She is still convinced its not her fault!!! So until I figure this all out (blogging) I don't have much to post

I want to share with my New Hampshire friends that I just found out after about 9 months that Cheryl Ayer's sister works at the same place I do. What a small world. It was like reconnecting with cheryl which stirred up some emotions. We had it good in New Hampshire a house Scott had a good job wonderful wonderful friends and a AWESOME ward but it was so hard to be away from family, so we moved to Mesquite and every since then it has been a rocky road. The move was sooo hard and I became very depressed and scott's job was not going well so as you know he was demoted and we are now in utah living. We have been in limbo for the past four years. I feel like I have no identity, don't want to make friends, struggling with the ward we are in, and my emotional health has been bad. Anyway seeing cheryl's sister brought up some deep emotions inside of me of how much you all mean to me and your friendship I am afraid of losing all of you because I never see you. I feel like I have lost my identity so trying to feel established is hard, making new friends is hard, feeling a part of our ward is hard because it is SO big and so different. New Hampshire will always be our home. But I have to look at the good. I am by family and my health is better but I never ever want to go through what we went through again. I still do not see how trials make you stronger because if anything I am a lot Weaker!!!!
